Our History

For over 50 years, Marshall Fuel, an ENERGEX Company, has served commercial, retail, construction, government, agricultural, automotive, educational, and marina clients with fuel products, services, tanks, and equipment. Founded in 1968 by John Marshall in Seguin, Texas, as a Mobil™ distributor, the company expanded its offerings to include lubricants, tires, batteries, gasoline, diesel, unattended fueling networks, fleet cards, retail stations, propane, and environmental services. In the late 1980s, Marshall Fuel relocated to San Antonio to broaden its reach, adding new services and suppliers. Acquired by brothers Mark and Brent in the early 1990s, the company benefits from their combined 60 years of industry expertise.
